Non-Common Core Students
Students who are homeschooled, attend private schools that do not use CCSS in their curriculum selections, and public school students in states that have not adopted the CCSS, are all students who are disenfranchised without a 3rd testing option.
High Performing Students
Students who have taken numerous high-level courses who are seeking a test capable of demonstrating their advanced proficiency will love the A.R.C. It enables them to set themselves apart from other students on numerous levels.

Established in 2013, Vector A.R.C. used the corporate talents of seasoned educators both within secondary and higher education to develop an alternative to the SAT and ACT. The goals in development were to create a test that accurately assessed a student's higher level thinking skills as well as subject matter proficiency that did NOT align with CCSS.

At Vector A.R.C. we're fighting to preserve your freedom to select your curriculum. We don't think it is fair that you should be forced by testing companies to choose between selecting your educational content and being competitive on your test scores for college acceptance. We believe the student should be the one in charge of their educational choices. We're empowering students to take control of both their academic experience and their college choices.
"The A.R.C. is harder, but there is no question that it is better, because it provides the opportunity for us to demonstrate what we know."

"I'm excited to know there is an option available so my child won't be forced to take a test aligned to the CCSS just to apply to college."
